The databases remain the property of Hallmark Software (P) Ltd and Thirdslip.com; by registering your product you you acquire the license to use the product on a single personal computer and a single laptop, provided that each is solely owned and operated by you. Any use of a single license by more than one person will invalidate the right to obtain future updates.

The freely downloaded version of the databases is fully functional, but you will not be able to update the databases until you purchase the software. The registration cost for Test and ODI Databases is US $30 for multi-year unlimited updates (Platinum Subscription) per Database.
